Membership of NVvL offers you the following benefits:

  • receiving the NVvL newsletter by email ten times a year, including announcements of lectures and symposia;

  • the opportunity to participate in lectures/conferences. Lectures usually take place monthly (usually on the third Thursday of the month) at a few locations in the Netherlands;

  • participate in visits organized by the NVvL to companies, institutes and bodies where activities in the field of aviation and/or space travel or related areas take place;
  • receive a discount on registration for symposia, conferences and congresses, including those of foreign sister organizations, which are also members of  CEAS, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences
  • (ICAS);
  • membership in both the Aeronautics and Space branches of CEAS;
  • a unique opportunity to build and participate in an aerospace network.

The cost of membership

Membership costs €35 on an annual basis. Students of an aerospace-oriented vocational training, who register as a member, do not pay a contribution during the years that they are a student and the first year after graduation. See below for registration.

Unsubscribe from membership

Members who wish to unsubscribe can do so by addressing the cancellation in writing or by email to the board of the association. The notice period is at least four weeks before the membership ends, so usually before December 1 of the relevant year. Further rules on this are stated in the articles of association Article 5, paragraph 5.1.
